| George Martin Music was set up in 1969 as a music publisher and since then under the guidance of Sir George Martin, has been developing new song writing talent. The company takes its cue from the spirit of excellence and talent that has surrounded George's life. George is of the world's most respected music producers and composers. In a career that has spanned five decades he has worked with a myriad of artists from Ella Fitzgerald to Peter Sellers, most of the people in between and of course The Beatles. Classically trained, his hallmark orchestrations and innovative recording techniques have helped shape the music of the late Twentieth Century and propelled artists and bands onto a global stage. He remains the world's most successful producer to date with 30 number one's in the US and UK Singles Chart, 5 Grammys, 2 Ivor Novello Awards and is universally respected by his peers and fans. Alongside all the recording work, George has a continued love of music and film. Amongst the groundbreaking film work that he has composed are his Academy Award nominated A Hard Day's Night and his Grammy winning Live and Let Die film scores. George Martin Music has for some time been a boutique publisher - a small independent looking after a core roster. Recent expansion has seen the company grow and the roster expand. With major worldwide representation we can now cater for flexible deals to cover all music publishing eventualities. | GMM remains independent and is now the home to a wide range of new composers with a strong grounding in music, film and TV providing creative musical solutions on a project-by-project basis. Based at Air Studios in London the artist led company has access to one of the world's finest and successful recording complexes. | ||
